The International Yoga Teacher Training Courses (IYTTC®) credentials are globally recognized and represent high-quality, safe, accessible, and equitable yoga teaching in communities around the world.
A Shared Ethical Commitment
International Yoga Teacher Training Courses (IYTTC®) membership shares a collective Ethical Commitment that includes an updated Code of Conduct, a new Scope of Practice, and an awareness of and responsibility to equity in yoga. This signals to the public that members strive to build a community for all.
Professional Tools & Resources
International Yoga Teacher Training Courses (IYTTC®) membership includes access to professional yoga tools and resources. Members will also be a part of our global directory, have rights to our trademarks and logos, and receive perks including discounts on relevant products and services.
STEPS FOR SUBMITTING AN IYTTC APPLICATION
STEP 01: Review IYTTC® Standards and Compile Materials
International Yoga Teacher Training Courses (IYTTC®) currently offers five different credentials, each of which has similar but different standards underlying it.

STEP 02: Resolve Your Questions
Have questions on the IYTTC® application? Watch the Unpacking the Upleveled Standards workshop hosted by the International Yoga Teacher Training Courses (IYTTC®) Team. They answer frequently asked questions, explain the application requirements, and provide an overview of the review process.
STEP 03: Start Your Application
Are you ready? Let’s apply! Be sure you have reviewed the standards underlying the IYTTC® credential for which you’re applying. In addition, be sure you have compiled all the elements on the checklist and reviewed our new Ethical Commitment. Remember, we are just a phone call away, and we are here with you every step.
STEP 04: IYTTC® Review Process
Your work is done! Your application now goes through IYTTC®’s six-week academic-style peer review process. Once completed, you will be contacted about a decision and the next steps.
If your application is approved, you may register as an IYTTC®. Until full approval, marketing your school as an IYTTC® is prohibited.
